Well......all my friends and family know just what I am talking about, it has been so long since I have had even a moment to type a letter on my blog..never mind post an actual recent pic. On the cape it is nuts in the summer and on Memorial Day you say 'good-bye' to your friends and family only to resurface after Labor Day looking forward to things winding down and catching up on 'stuff'! I have had a rare moment to post some pics of some of the jewelry that I am going to bring to the Society of Cape Cod Craftsmans event in Brewster at Drummer Boy Park...the 12th, 13th and 14th of August. Hope to see you there!

I love antique keys...who dose'nt....there is a this fabulous mystery behind them....where did they come from? What kinds of secrets did they lock and 'unlock'? Is there still a really cool little box some where hidden that I some how have the key to? You could go on and on....its the mystery part that makes the keys so coveted! Some Beautiful Bottles

I have soldered these bottles added patina and some ribbon for bud vases, they are so pretty hanging in a window. I found all of them, some by some miracle are naturally sand blasted and did not break in the surf or sand of the beach.

A sweet little guy that has taken the time to collect and decorate his nest with found beach shells,charms,beads and decorative leaves. Maybe he is trying to impress his girlfriend! This was a custom request from a friend of mine John Laforte, he and his girlfriend found this wonderful shark tooth (I think it is about a billion years old) somewhere in Florida along with fabulous other things. Hand soldered, patina and polishing compound makes a perfect antiqued frame, the micro facetted crystals whack it out of the MAN thaaaaang and add a femine feel..........you would'nt think so.......but it WORKS. Normally I dont think I would wear a shark tooth but I would definetly wear this one.!!!!

Collection of "Things" Necklace

I like little collections of things, so I put some together in this necklace. My friend taught me how to solder, so I did alittle bit of that around a piece of sea glass and attached a sterling post....came out great but I still have to patina and polish it....you are seeing the necklace in the 'almost done' stage. Hand made sterling chain is mostly czech beads with a few pearls and carnelians sprinkled in.

I put solder around the top of this gorgeous quahog shell and made a tiny little scallop shell spoon to distribute the salt! Cute and fun to make!

Drift Wood Table

This really neat drift wood table was built by my brother Rafe and myself, every single piece of wood came from just down the street from me at a town landing called Hemmingway. The only thing not found is the nails to put it together, the legs were one really long pole, that was hard bringing back in the truck! You will see the other driftwood table on the deck of my studio! There is yet one more to the left of my herb/tomato/don't know what it is called garden!

I looooooove my studio and spend a lot of time in it......it has a really cool loft..... if I get tired and crossing the yard looks like along way well....up I go..... to hot in the summer though! Its a mess inside right now but will post pics when I clean it up.....even more fab inside!
